Director of Operations
Job Purpose
The Director of Operations will oversee the daily operations of our water filtration and water treatment facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water treatment operations, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the company's day-to-day business operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of water filtration and treatment facilities.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Manage and mentor a team of operations staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations the North America and Canada locations.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Respond to and resolve operational issues and emergencies.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies, clients, and stakeholders.
- Measure the effectiveness of all processes (budget, operations, and management, etc.)
- Determine the company’s strategic growth as part of the executive team
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and projects
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related discipline 5 -10 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in water treatment operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, technologies, and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Experience in product management
Work Environment
- Professional office environment and occasional manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, grinding, vapor, dust and lubricants
- Routinely required to use standard office equipment
- Expected to be proficient with a variety of computer programs, including MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
- Must adhere to company safety policies and wear the required personal protective equipment as needed
- 30% Travel
