What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP (Direct Support Professional)-Residential Specialist position at AMIB, Inc?
The Direct Support Professional-Residential Specialist position is direct care, hands-on and offers assistance with personal care, hygiene, medication administration, and daily living skills for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and visual impairments. DSP's provide support services to individuals in the community and in group homes. .
The ideal Direct Support Professional candidates must have compassion, patience and enjoy encouraging others to achieve their goals.
The Direct Support Professional candidate must have Driver License valid in NJ with no more than 5 points, HS Diploma or GED, ability to pass criminal background checks & drug screen successfully.
