The Manager Business Continuity and Third Party Risk will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the Company’s business continuity program and third-party risk management program in support of Amica’s business resiliency with limited direct assistance from the ERM Officer. Key duties include overseeing and maturing the enterprise-wide business continuity program, collaborating with all lines of risk, integrating business impact analysis and continuity planning, strategically managing the third-party risk program, and aligning first-line business units with the company's resiliency goals. The position requires a proactive, collaborative and forward-looking mindset, along with the ability to work well with all levels within the organization.

The Manager Business Continuity and Third Party Risk will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the Company’s business continuity program and third-party risk management program in support of Amica’s business resiliency with limited direct assistance from the ERM Officer. Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance the enterprise-wide business continuity and third-party risk management programs.
- Direct and manage the business continuity and third-party risk program teams.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional resiliency team.
- Gain full support of leadership to conduct and plan regular business continuity exercises and drills.
- Report progress and issues to the executive sponsor team.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all continuity plans.
- Implement Gartner's business continuity program best practices over the next two years.
- Develop and implement strategic plan to ensure policies and procedures are operationalized to assess and manage both programs.
- Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of third-party risk relationships to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Maintain strategic direction to mature the technology needed to support the programs.
- Create and conduct educational programs and curate online training materials.
- Participate in special projects and provide general support to company initiatives.
- May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
- 10 years of experience in business continuity or a related field, such as risk management, disaster recovery, emergency management or crisis management
- 5-10 years of experience in third-party risk management or a related field, such as risk management, audit, or compliance
- Strong track record of developing and implementing business continuity management frameworks
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for both disciplines
- Innovative thinker that understands the "big picture" and can motivate other to achieve optimal end state
- Experience conducting business impact analyses at the enterprise level
- Notable successful experience managing and/or working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders at various levels, and communication to senior leads
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or Data Science, Master’s degree a plus
