Food Runner/Busser/Barback

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in the hospitality industry and have a passion for culinary excellence.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Assist servers by ensuring that all food orders are complete and presented beautifully.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and special requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and assisting with any needs they may have.
• Buss tables and reset
• Assist Bar-backing as needed
• Cleaning

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of culinary terms, food preparation techniques, and banquet service is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary.
• A passion for hospitality and helping others is essential.
