What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Writer position at Amicis Global?

Writing, editing, and maintaining internal process documentation according to company guidelines and templates

Providing ongoing writing support to cross-functional teams

Developing and maintaining process documentation flow charts

Collaborating with department team members and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to learn their internal processes

Ensuring compliance with Quality, Document Control, and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) guidelines

Understanding and executing document control steps

Resolving complex issues in creative and effective ways

Leading writing projects and mentoring other writers

Keeping updated with regulatory requirements for compliance and sharing knowledge with others

Adhering to policies, procedures, style guides, and quality documents

Having 3-5 years of writing or editing experience in a regulated environment

Possessing a Bachelor's degree in communications, professional writing, English, or biological / medical / engineering sciences

Demonstrating strong writing, grammar, and analytical skills

Having the ability to understand and create flow charts

Being able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

Having expert skill level in using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Visio

Having working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or equivalent

Having previous experience with medical devices or in a regulated environment

Being able to perform assignments with minimal instruction and supervision

Understanding of Document Control, decision tracking software, and localization process is preferred.
