With a commitment to innovation, automation, and operational efficiency, our client is implementing SAP EWM to enhance warehouse operations and streamline supply chain processes. They are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to drive the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of their warehouse management system.
Role Summary:
As an SAP EWM Consultant, you will play a key role in the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Extended Warehouse Management solutions within a complex manufacturing and logistics environment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and supply chain leaders to ensure the successful rollout and integration of SAP EWM into their existing SAP S/4HANA landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the SAP EWM implementation, including system configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Optimize warehouse processes such as inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, slotting, put-away, picking, and packing.
- Configure and integrate SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, and S/4HANA to ensure seamless data flow.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to enhance automation capabilities, including RF scanning, barcode systems, and robotics integration.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
- Conduct user training and workshops to ensure smooth adoption of SAP EWM functionalities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical SAP EWM solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and system optimization.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP EWM Consultant, specializing in Embedded or Decentralized EWM.
- Strong expertise in SAP EWM configuration, warehouse automation, and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience working in a high-volume, automated warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of RF devices, barcode scanning, and robotics process automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to drive efficiency and cost optimization.
- Ability to lead workshops, train users, and communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- SAP EWM certification (preferred).
