Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design, development, and integration of AUV systems, including PCB design, schematics, component selection, layout, assembly, and testing of electrical prototypes.
- Own the troubleshooting and debugging process across electrical and firmware integration boundaries using lab tools (oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.).
- Architect power management, sensors, communications, payloads, and interconnects, ensuring they meet the demanding constraints of long-duration subsea operations.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical and software teams to align electrical systems with overall AUV platform requirements.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, providing input on electrical design, manufacturability, and integration strategies for reliability in underwater environments.
