Marketing Copywriter
Amigo Mobility International, Inc. was founded in 1968 with the mission of Improving Lives Through Mobility®. Since then, Amigo Mobility has grown to include multiple product lines that provide innovative solutions to meet the needs of diverse markets. Most of our sales are business to business, but some marketing projects are for B2C markets.
The Marketing Copywriter creates written content for various marketing materials. This person will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to understand brand messaging, target audience, and campaign goals. The purpose of marketing is to help diversify and grow our company for the next 50 while supporting our mission of Improving Lives Through Mobility®.
Job Duties
- Develop engaging and persuasive copy for a variety of marketing channels including websites, emails, socials media, press releases, advertising, and more
- Write various newsletters and send through newsletter software, write blog posts and multimedia content
- Conduct customer interviews and market research to identify trends and news to create relevant subject matter
- Edit and proofread marketing materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Use data and analytics like website traffic and email reports to measure the impact of writing
- Work closely with the marketing team to advance new ideas and projects
- Coordinate contracts and projects for outside marketing agencies, advertising representatives and vendors
- Provide training and support to team members on marketing copywriting best practices and tools
- Complete other marketing and advertising duties as assigned
Skills Required:
- A bachelor’s degree in writing, marketing, communications, or related field
- 1 years marketing copywriting experience is preferred
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete projects by deadlines
- Excellent communication skills – in person, phone and email
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Outlook
- Helpful skills: experience with enewsletter program, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, WordPress, Adobe Suite and Canva
