Position Summary:
The Child Psychiatrist Nurse Practitioner will provide integrated mental health care to pediatric patients, diagnosing and managing psychiatric conditions. The role involves collaborating with healthcare providers, coordinating referrals, offering patient education, and contributing to quality assurance programs.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric psychiatric conditions, including acute and chronic mental health issues.
Diagnosis & Treatment: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and provide appropriate treatment or referrals.
Referral Coordination: Coordinate referrals to specialists and external agencies.
Education: Develop and deliver educational materials for patients and families.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams and serve on relevant committees.
Commitment: Adhere to the health center's mission and values.
Other Duties: Perform additional related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Licensure & Certification:
Massachusetts Licensed MLP-NP.
Certified as a Child Psychiatric Clinical Specialist in Nursing.
CPR/AED certified.
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience in pediatric psychiatry.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
