Leading Furniture Company is looking for an experienced and hands-on Parts Manager who will not only oversee the department but will personally execute key tasks with precision and care. In this role, you will be directly involved in Parts Procurement which includes analyzing parts usage, creating and maintaining parts SKUs and Bills of Materials, processing customer orders, and updating our parts catalog. You must be an analytical thinker with strong Excel skills, and capable of ensuring every process meets our high-quality standards. The position requires strong communication, detail oriented, follow-up promptly and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement via Data Analysis & Quality Assurance:
- Analyze parts usage data and address quality issues, using advanced Excel skills to inform procurement decisions.
- SKU & Bill of Materials Creation:
- Personally develop, review, and maintain unique parts SKUs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Create and update detailed Bills of Materials reflecting all components and specifications.
- Order Processing:
- Review customer submissions and confirm the validity of each order.
- Personally handle and refine the order processing system to ensure swift, accurate transactions.
- Catalog Management:
- Update and expand our parts catalog
- Hands-On Task Management:
- Although in a managerial role, you will be directly involved in performing these tasks and ensuring that each process meets our luxury brand standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams but also work independently to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Communication Liaison:
- To be able to communicate effectively with overseas suppliers and report parts related matters.
- Team player with positive attitude to collaborate with multiple departments to streamline the program.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in parts management, inventory control, or a similar role, with a track record of hands-on involvement in daily operations.
- Proven expertise in data analysis and advanced Excel skills, with a strong ability to interpret and act on data insights.
- Experience in reviewing and processing orders
- Familiarity with inventory management software and order processing systems.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a commitment to high-quality, luxury service standards.
