We are seeking a candidate with extensive Honeywell experience to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to deploy tailored automation solutions across diverse sectors while maintaining robust industrial control systems that promote safe and efficient processes. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will enhance process stability and safety by configuring control systems.
Your responsibilities in this position will include executing project tasks according to the agreed scope, aligning with project objectives, and ensuring client satisfaction. A deep technical understanding of industry-specific automation and programming practices is essential, as is the ability to represent the company professionally while implementing both automated programming and processes.
Key duties involve providing engineering services such as managing projects, estimating resources, designing control systems, creating system documentation, and overseeing system startups and commissioning. As a subject matter expert, you will implement complex projects using PLC and DCS platforms like ABB System 800xA, Rockwell ControlLogix, and Emerson DeltaV.
You will also function as the primary technical contact for customers, delivering support and guidance, and providing technical sales support. Travel may be required for sales support, project assessment, and implementation. Staying informed on industry advancements in automation technology will be critical.
Preferred experience includes PLCs from Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc, and HMI platforms such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware, and Inductive Automation's Ignition. Moreover, familiarity with DCS platforms like ABB, Emerson, and Honeywell is beneficial.
Qualified candidates will possess at least 7 years of direct experience, the ability to interpret engineering documentation, and a strong aptitude for designing and implementing automation systems. Project management skills, leadership abilities, effective communication, and teamwork are crucial, along with a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
