In this dynamic role, you will execute a range of sophisticated imaging procedures and non-imaging assessments for patients spanning various age groups, from newborns to the elderly. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals while making independent judgments when necessary, with technical guidance available as needed. Essential areas of expertise include Nuclear Medicine techniques, Positron Imaging, and radiation protection. Your role will involve accurately calculating and administering radionuclide dosages, maintaining comprehensive pharmacy records, and conducting diverse imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and cooperation.

Your proficiency in operating advanced equipment and your theoretical acumen will be vital for acquiring and processing both 2D and 3D medical images. Additionally, you'll ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, perform routine maintenance, and adhere diligently to radiation safety standards. Qualifications include successful completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, at least one year of practical experience, and active certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT (N) or NMTCB) along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
