Join our team to spearhead the development and execution of annual workplace health strategies, focusing on safeguarding employees from environmental hazards. You will play a pivotal role in assessing, documenting, and managing exposure to chemical, physical, and biological agents within our facilities. Ensure alignment with occupational health standards and regulations, actively participate in the review and improvement of our safety programs, and lead IH program enhancements at all operational levels. Your expertise will guide the development of compliance systems, emergency response strategies, and the introduction of new materials to the site. Collaboration is key, as you'll work alongside medical staff to design effective health surveillance initiatives and engage with external regulatory bodies. An integral member of our Environmental, Safety, and Sustainability Health team, you will also contribute to significant company projects, ensuring IH implications are properly addressed.
Desirable candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant health sciences or engineering fields, with over 7 years' experience in chemical, refinery, or industrial settings. A Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential is preferred. Your proficiency in OSHA regulations, analytical skills in incident investigation, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills will ensure your success in this role.
