- Direct sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationships to fulfill site demands.
- Proactively plan procurement activities for both routine and specialized plant operations.
- Oversee RFQ/RFP processes, conduct supplier negotiations, and manage contracts execution.
- Ensure all procurement practices adhere to corporate policies and site-specific guidelines.
- Evaluate supplier performance continuously and implement improvements.
- Supervise material flow and warehouse activity to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain and update ERP system data for maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Execute periodic inventory counts and manage stock discrepancies.
- Guide procurement and warehouse teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Enhance procurement and inventory strategies, including data reporting and system efficiency.
- Align on-site purchasing goals with overall corporate objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or similar discipline.
- Over 10 years in supply chain management within a manufacturing setting, preferably in chemical sectors.
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role, managing procurement or inventory teams.
- Proficient in ERP systems (preferably JDE) and strong command over MRO categories.
- Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis and process optimization.
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills to influence decision-making at various organizational levels.
