Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Americas Event Strategy and Execution Manager on a contractor basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for meticulously planning, coordinating, communicating, executing, and tracking OnTours, Xtours, and other high-value multi-city face-to-face activities across North and South America (one-to-few/one-to-many). The successful candidate will bring a wealth of experience in event planning and execution, along with the ability to coordinate content, secure speakers, manage preparations, create agendas, and seamlessly integrate partners and sponsors into events. This role also involves actively engaging in securing sponsors and contributing to the creation of sponsor programs, with support from other stakeholders in the company.
Americas Event Strategy and Execution Manager
Reporting to Sr. Director, Americas Growth and Performance Management
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute Americas-wide OnTours, XTours, and other multi-city face-to-face events.
• Manage the end-to-end event process, including content coordination, speaker acquisition, preparation, agenda creation, and integration of partners and sponsors.
• Lead the effort to secure sponsors and actively contribute to the creation of sponsor programs, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
• Implement metric tracking systems and demonstrate familiarity with Salesforce, campaign creation, and post-event tracking for effective performance evaluation.
• Handle events ranging from 45 to 500 attendees, targeting Executive, Partner, and customer/prospect decision-makers.
• Report directly to the Sr. Director of Americas Growth and Performance Marketing.
• Collaborate with Global Events Teams, Americas Programs, and Field Marketing/Partner Marketing teams for comprehensive event support.
• Work closely with the global events teams for content creation, distilling content, and gaining buy-in from Americas sales, SE, and Partner teams during agenda development.
• Additional duties related to multi-city activities and programs throughout the Americas may be assigned as time allows, with a primary focus on the .NEXT event series.
• Lead special initiatives and projects that support growth and performance.
• Support Americas wide reporting and metrics, including development of new reports as needed.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a multi-city context.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with internal teams, partners, and sponsors.
• Proficiency in metric tracking, Salesforce, campaign creation, and post-event analysis.
• Ability to manage events targeting diverse audience sizes, from small gatherings to large conferences.
• Familiarity with the technology industry and the ability to adapt to evolving landscapes.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience
• Experience with Splash, Marketo and Salesforce
• 25% travel
• Experience in Tech Sector
