What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Observability S/W Engineer (Java/GO + REST) position at AMISEQ?
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Observability engineer to join our passionate development team. You will be very familiar with Rest API concepts and how to use Go or Java to build, develop and deliver Highly Available Real-time Distributed Data API systems.
Skills:
· Very strong Go or Java language proficiency having at least 3 years' experience in software and systems engineering
· Good understanding of Networking concepts.
· Good Grasp of Network observability and Telemetry (SNMP, gNMI, RESTful APIs)
· Should have worked on Observability platforms or have strong knowledge of Observability/Telemetry systems.
· Expertise and experience in delivering large-scale systems using big data technologies including but not limited to: Enterprise scale Kafka, Splunk, Prometheus/Loki/Grafana stack, ELK stack and other Time Series databases
· Strong skills with Stream Processing Frameworks
· Good understanding of implementing and deploying Container-based applications via CI/CD pipelines.
· Strong understanding of delivering Highly-Available Real-time Distributed Systems
· Strong skills in building RESTful API's over Data platforms
· Good understanding of the Git version control system
· Excellent problem-solving skills
