Our client is seeking a highly motivated, capable program manager for the IT Office of the CIO to lead and manage the Contract Governance and Deal Evaluation / CIO executive briefing of contract transactions.
Contract Governance and Deal Evaluation / CIO Briefing
- A key expectation is you must be proficient in identifying, assessing, and executing opportunities to improve cost, quality, partner performance, speed to market and establishing strong measure and metrics.
- Document your findings, recommendations, and deal summary for executives.
- Capture decisions and action items via meeting minutes and follow up on timely completion of those action items.
- This specialist will help manage a technology intake process and triage and analyze IT technology procurement requests and offer informed recommendations
- Develop and enhance governance frameworks while optimizing structure and requirements for IT technology procurement requests.
- Act as a liaison by working closely with all parties including IT, architecture, security, etc, to help ensure compliance with business practices.
- Develop upstream strategies and approaches necessary to aid technology rationalization / optimization of the IT technology portfolio
- Identify potential risks in proposed IT contracts structure and propose mitigation strategies
- Monitor IT portfolio budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial planning.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, legal trends, and technology developments related to IT contracts
Experience and / or Qualifications

Proficient with project management and business software Applicable advanced degree (MS or MBA)
