The Role:
As Operations Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our day-to-day operations, overseeing production, inventory, and logistics. You’ll drive efficiency, champion continuous improvement, and ensure that each product we create exceeds customer expectations. From managing the team to coordinating with sales and customer service, your leadership will shape every step of the fulfillment process, from start to finish. What We Expect: A Proven Leader – You’ve managed teams before, and you know how to inspire, mentor, and hold others accountable to work safely, accurately, and efficiently. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and lead by example.
Process & Efficiency Champion – You’ve got a sharp eye for identifying bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and ensuring quality and accuracy at every step. Familiarity with two important books is a plus: (1) The Toyota Way by Jeffrey Liker and (2) by Patrick Lencioni.
Operations Expertise – Whether it's production scheduling, inventory management, purchasing, or order fulfillment, you must have experience in some or all of these functions. QuickBooks proficiency for costing and inventory management will be a huge asset.
Early & Committed – You lead with discipline and consistency, showing up to start the day and greet your team Monday through Friday at 5:45 AM.
Continuous Improvement Mindset – You’re continuously looking for ways to work more safely, more accurately, and more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operations of production, ensuring on-time delivery, accuracy, and top-tier quality. Must get it right the first time.
- Mentor, manage, and inspire your team to achieve their best, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Oversee inventory control and cost management to ensure profitability.
- Seamless communication between departments—sales, customer service, and shipping—to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage purchasing duties to maintain a steady flow of inventory.
- Collaborate with our President to foster an environment where each team member works safely, accurately, and efficiently.
