Salary Range: Grade 2, Step 3 ($16.40/ per hour)
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Money Management Case Aide provides support services to two important functions within the Money Management Program.
Case Aide: In this capacity, the incumbent provides support to the Money Management Case Manager (MMCM) to ensure that clients basic needs such as food and shelter are met. This includes driving and transporting clients using an agency vehicle for shopping outings and making purchases for clients and documenting said purchases. The Case Aide will assist the MMCM by driving and cashing checks, delivering spending money, paying bills and other assigned job duties to meet the goals of the program.
Records Management: In this capacity, the incumbent is responsible for managing the Money Management's Client Records. These client files must be maintained accurately. Furthermore, he/she must become familiar with the Money Management Program's Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Handbook, training materials, and internal forms necessary to meet the needs of this position, and provides basic office support as assigned by Supervisor, MMCM and/or management personnel.

Case Aide Duties and Responsibilities:
- Files documents and completes reports in a timely manner and in compliance with the Money Management Program's Standard Operating Procedures.
- Attends, drives/transports, and monitors clients during shopping outings and other appointments.
- Completes documentation in the agency's case management software program (SEMS program) to reflect the outcome of any client appointments and tasks completed.
- Completes follow-up reports and activities and informs appropriate staff as to the outcome of assignments made involving support to clients.
- Driving themselves to makes purchases and deliveries to clients that can include groceries, clothing, delivering medications, cigarettes, Sun Metro Lift tickets and/or other essentials. It is essential that an accurate inventory is done that documents all items purchased (these purchasing assignments can occur more than once a week).
- As assigned, drives and delivers spending money to clients and documents and obtains receipts of said deliveries.
- Drives themselves to deposits checks or cash at banking institutions and obtains receipts for all transactions.
- Becomes well versed in the agency's filing procedures such that files in the client records room are filed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Periodically monitors client records to ensure that files are maintained per the Program's SOP's.
- Daily when in office, files paperwork inserted in the pending cabinet or given by Money Management Case Manager; paperwork should be filed within 4 weeks.
- High School Diploma or equivalency with experience in social services.
- Demonstrated ability to complete written reports.
- Be available to work before or after hours (although not the norm, the incumbent may be called upon to provide support other than 8 to 5 Monday through Friday).
- Must have a current driver's license and show evidence of meeting state requirements of having the appropriate level of automobile insurance and drive themselves or clients to appointments, meetings. etc.
- Able to lift up to thirty pounds.
- Must undergo background check and drug test and not have positive results (must not have been convicted of a crime or have a positive drug test result).
- Commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds is a must.
- Bilingual - must have the ability to communicate in Spanish and English.
