Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Set up CNC equipment, including installing tools and fixtures as per the production schedule.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure product consistency and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to determine machining requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal operation and longevity.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on finished products, measuring dimensions and tolerances utilizing precision instruments.
- Collaborate with engineers and production supervisors to improve machining processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC operations is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong mathematical skills to calculate measurements and tolerances effectively.
- Familiarity with various CNC machinery and tools, such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Ability to perform precision measurements with tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
