We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled and motivated Electronic Assembly Technician to join our team.
In this position you will be responsible for all phases of assembly of our various aerial swivels according to specifications. You will work with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronic assembly processes and demonstrate proficiency in using relevant tools.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain proper set-up and tools required for assembly
- Follow established assembly procedures to maintain strict tolerances and quality standards
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure correct function of assembled products Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years experience in electronic assembly
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
- Familiarity with tools and measuring devices
- Soldering (electrical components/circuit boards)
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 50 lbs)
- Good vision and hearing for safety and quality assurance purposes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
