• DHS TSA EOD preferred
• Bachelor Degree a min of 6 years of experience
• This position currently allows for remote work but may transition to an onsite requirement at our designated office location, Monday through Friday, five days per week. This policy is subject to change based on business needs and operational requirements.

The Gist…

Our Software Developer will translate detailed designs into high-quality computer software, ensuring it meets the specified requirements. You will be responsible for testing, debugging, and refining the software to produce a robust and efficient product. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive documentation, enhance software performance, and provide technical guidance to subordinate staff.

What Your Day Might Include…

• Translate detailed design specifications into functional and efficient software applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Develop front-end and back-end components of the application, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications to identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
• Perform code reviews and participate in peer reviews to ensure high-quality code output.
• Prepare and maintain detailed program-level documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and architecture diagrams.
• Create user-level documentation to assist end-users in understanding and utilizing the software effectively.
• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
• Analyze software performance and identify areas for optimization to improve speed, responsiveness, and resource utilization.
• Implement performance improvements and monitor the impact of changes on overall system performance.
• Collaborate with system architects and engineers to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Provide technical direction and assistance to subordinate staff, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.

Requirements

You’ll Bring These Qualifications…

• Bachelor’s degree a min of 6 years of proven experience
• 6 years of professional experience supporting multiple systems in multiple languages and frameworks
• Proven experience with .NET, C# and Oracle 9c.
• Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to the systems supporting them
• Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution
• Aptitude for picking up technology quickly along with a desire to learn and progress
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
• Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges and enjoys working team collaboration 4 years of professional experience supporting systems in multiple languages and frameworks.
