Amkor Technology Inc., a global leader in semiconductor packaging and test services, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated insurance risk manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's financial stability and risk management efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in risk management with interest in treasury operations, contributing to the company's strategic goals and operational excellence. This position will report directly the Vice President, Finance & Treasury.
Risk Management:
- Oversee and enhance the corporate-wide insurance risk management program.
- Evaluate, select, and manage third-party risk management services, including brokers, actuaries, claims administrators, and loss prevention specialists.
- Perform risk evaluations by comparing potential risks with company criteria such as costs and legal requirements.
- Analyze and implement appropriate risk management, transfer, financing, or other methods to mitigate potential losses.
- Assist in creating business continuity plans to limit risks.
- Verify, track, and process program contracts, agreements, and invoices.
- Report, manage, and resolve loss claims with insurance carriers.
Treasury Operations Management:
- Assist with daily cash operations, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its obligations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in risk management, business, law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field (e.g., risk manager, loss control, financial analysis).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in a public company with a large manufacturing and global footprint is a plus.
- Industry designation such as Associate in Risk Management, Certified Risk Manager, or CPCU is a plus.
- Past experience in treasury operations and cash management is preferred.
