Position Summary :
Amkor Technology Arizona, is looking for a Senior Human Resource Business Partner Manager who will oversee key initiatives from start-up and ramp to sustainability that include employee relations, performance management, talent management, succession, training and development, and compensation planning. This position will directly support developing, evaluating, and enabling people strategies, principles, policies, and objectives at our new Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) factory in Peoria, AZ. The successful candidate will be adept at managing both development and implementation of policy and meeting the day-to-day needs of business leaders and will demonstrate a keen interest in understanding the company's business and operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for supporting start up activities; employee hiring, onboarding, expat / inpat assignment tracking and general factory Human Resources set up during the start-up and ramp.
- In partnership with Korea HR, lead the prioritization of policies and procedures; definition of the employee work schedule, shift start / stop times during the start-up phase of the factory. Additionally, help guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines for the Human Resources Department.
- Support talent development programs that include conducting needs assessments, evaluating and selecting training content, and defining vision for learning and leadership development.
- Partner with business leaders to help drive succession planning activities that align with the company's goals and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Establish an HR dashboard to monitor HR Indicators (e.g. turn-over, hiring plan and status, diversity hiring, policy / procedure development status, ER cases etc.).
- Effectively analyze and interpret data to measure the organizations health, employee satisfaction and intent to stay.
- Successfully deploy talent reviews, promotions and merit increase cycle. Serve as an advisor on compensation related activities.
- Lead change-management efforts of ad-hoc people initiatives, as needed.
- Build and implement programs and processes that will elevate the employee experience.
- Coach department leadership on people strategy including team structure (organizational design), hiring, performance management, compensation, recognition, and learning development.
- Empower managers to build amazing teams by providing them with the necessary tools, resources and training needed - collaborate with Leadership Development team & technical training team to supplement leader & employee development.
- Lead and oversee the development and implementation of leadership development and other development focused programs.
- Work with managers to help develop promotion and retention strategies for employees.
- In partnership with management, design and implement methods that enhance and recognize employee performance.
- Partner with compensation to conduct job classification and market pay studies.
- Effectively lead and manage a team of Human Resources Business Partners.
- Assist with other general Human Resources duties that include employee relations, compliance with the U.S. and international labor laws, and supporting audits.

This role will initially work in our Tempe, AZ, Global Headquarters location but will later transition to our new factory location in Peoria, AZ. This position will be onsite but will have flexibility for remote work on occasion.
