Overview of AMKY Physician Services LLC
We are seeking a highly skilled physician to join our team at the Required Center for Acute Rehabilitation.
About the Position:
- This is a temporary coverage opportunity, covering the week of February 6-10th while the permanent PM&R physician is out for surgery.
- There may be additional needs for intermittent coverage in the future, but this is the initial requirement.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and be comfortable working with patients admitted to the Acute Rehabilitation unit.
Responsibilities:
- Order labs, tests, imaging, and consults as needed.
- Participate in daily team conferences at 1pm-1:30pm.
- Work collaboratively with hospitalists and specialty physicians to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPM&R).
- Licensure in Maryland.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS).
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with hospitalists covering the rest of the time. The average daily census is between 9-10 patients, with some variability.
