Job Summary:
3rd Party Purchasing & Receiving Specialist will engage with external vendors to on-board new brands, re-order inventory with current brands, negotiate promotions and deals, schedule brand pop-ups and budtender education for retail, and provide in-depth sales reports to management. They will be responsible for communicating with the Inventory Head of Control to ensure retail stock maintains reasonable levels, accounting for sales volume and upcoming promotions. They will consistently work with the State Compliance Manager to verify purchased inventory and vendors follow all state regulation requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reviews cost proposals and pricing information.
- Prepares purchase orders with specific vendors.
- Compares bids from vendors and determines, or assists with determination, to whom contracts will be awarded.
- Evaluates vendor products and processes to ensure that all PurLife requirements are met.
- Confirms that terms and delivery dates are accurate.
- Evaluates competence of vendors and reviews their invoices for accuracy.
- Maintains database regarding vendors’ performance and quality of product(s).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Performs internal re-allocation as necessary to ensure all stores are stocked regularly and not overly so.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required preferred
- Three years of relevant experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
