responsible for oversight and direction of the Emergency Department. This position shall be accountable for and contribute to program development, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion. Routinely assigns and responsibly directs staff. This position is required to utilize independent judgment. Agrees with culture and models appropriate behavior as exemplified in AMMC's Mission / Vision Statement and Standards of Performance. Reflects a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Requirements :
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arkansas.
- BSN Degree in Nursing preferred
- At least 3 years of progressive responsibility experience in department supervising and / or nursing healthcare management.
- ACLS / PALS certified required [Must be obtained within first year, then maintained.] CPR certified.
