- Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Maintenance certifications).
- Proven experience working in an industrial environment involving manufacturing, automated, and modern equipment.
- Knowledge and/or exposure to continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to lead a team and project, including coordination of employees and contractors.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software (e.g., Maxpanda or equivalent).
- Maintenance and Inspection: Responsible for the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and testing of all installed equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Predictive Maintenance: Tracks repair history and reviews/updates the plan for predictive maintenance.
- Inventory: manage parts and tool inventory to ensure timely repairs.
- Leadership: Training, scheduling, and task delegation of the team.
- Budget Management: Assists in the development and execution of the maintenance budget, including cost control and procurement of necessary materials.
- Interacts with maintenance contractors for quotes, pricing negotiations, and ensuring compliance with AMMEGA guidelines.
- Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance: Ensures compliance with EHS regulations and reporting requirements.
- On-Call Responsibilities: Availability for facility management-related issues that arise outside of regular working hours.
- Production Support: Works with production to optimize machine uptime and ensure equipment meets production requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seeks ways to improve maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and overall plant efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, overseeing waste disposal practices, monitoring energy consumption, and implementing strategies to minimize the facility's environmental impact.
