ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Production Flow : Ensure continuous, errorfree production activities.
Engineering Support : Oversee manufacturing and facility engineering, manage projects, and support product engineering with concurrent practices.
Process Improvement : Lead efforts to enhance safety, ergonomics, productivity, and quality in manufacturing processes and tooling. Manage environmental compliance and implement improvements.
Technical Guidance : Provide support to maintenance and lead design for efficient product packaging.
Team Leadership : Oversee production staff, manage shift changes, and conduct training and performance reviews. Promote teamwork and address employee concerns.
Communication & Coordination : Facilitate shift meetings, ensure effective communication within and across departments, and collaborate on strategic planning.
Quality & Efficiency : Monitor product quality, resolve production issues, and drive process improvements. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in line with 5S principles.
Documentation & Flexibility : Ensure accuracy in documentation and data entry. Fill in for absent employees and manage peak workloads.
Company Representation : Maintain a positive company image and assist in eliminating unsafe practices. Perform additional duties as needed.
Minimum Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related area.
Completion of the LTC Supervisory Management Program and / or Materials Management Program is highly recommended.
Minimum Skills and Experience :
At least 3 years supervising in a manufacturing setting; previous leadership experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams, multitask, and organize effectively.
Proficient in production, inventory, and safety. Skilled in detailed, accurate work.
Ability to influence change, make quick decisions, and maintain effective relationships with vendors, customers, and team members.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite and written communication skills.
