In this role, you’ll use tools like calipers, micrometers, and plug gauges to perform in-process and final inspections. You’ll document quality data meticulously and maintain a clean, safe workspace, addressing any issues proactively. Your expertise in interpreting part prints and ensuring quality at every step will be vital to our success.

Schedules (subject to availability) :

1st Shift : Monday–Thursday, 5 : 00 AM–3 : 00 PM
2nd Shift : Monday–Thursday, 3 : 00 PM–1 : 00 AM
Weekend Day Shift : Friday–Sunday, 5 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM
Weekend Night Shift : Friday–Sunday, 5 : 00 PM–5 : 00 AM

As a Machine Operator you will :

Perform in process final inspections on brass casings

Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, and height gauges

Read and interpret part prints and understand the correlation between the point and critical dimensions

Document production, materials and quality information in accordance with operating procedures

Clean scrap from machines after order completion.

Ensure areas with debris, oil, coolant, or slippery substances are mopped, and proactively address any sources of leaks.

Requirements :

Required qualifications for a Machine Operator :

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years of industrial experience

Experience in using precision measuring instruments

Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy

Must demonstrate safe work practices, work with limited supervision and communicate with coworkers, manager and other departments

Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations

High school diploma or the equivalent required
