- Review blueprints and fabricate parts to specs.
- Operate and adjust machinery for precise machining.
- Sharpen tools, handle documentation, and manage materials.
- Assist with R&D, fit and assemble tooling, and estimate machining times.
- Use precision tools, perform maintenance, and repair equipment.
- Apply skills from various trades and follow EHS procedures.
- Attend meetings and training, and participate in AMMO’s improvement process.
- High School diploma
- Specialized vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
- Commitment to pursuing Journeyman Tool and Die certification in the future.
- 2-3 years in industrial or mechanical repair
- Experience with manual and automated tools (e.g., lathes, grinders)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in math, problem-solving, and detailed work
- Ability to build relationships, lead change, and make quick decisions
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and written communication
