Description
Job Summary: Collect urine specimens for toxicology testing via supervised or unsupervised methods
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Follow Collection procedures and protocols as it pertains to the Client Site
- Verify patient and insurance information
- Complete necessary documentation accurately and legibly
- Transport or arrange for transportation of specimens to laboratory
- Maintain proper chain of custody
- Abide by HIPAA Regulations
- Maintain professional boundaries while interacting with clients
- Travel to designated Client Site(s)
- Participate in necessary educational/training activities
- All other assignments as directed by management
Requirements
Educational and Experiential Background:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Offical High School Diploma will be required)
- Experience in related field preferred
- Basic Mathematical knowledge required
- Legible handwriting required
- 6 months to 1-year experience working in medical field preferred
Requirements:
- Active driver's license/reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to relate well with clients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Ability to work proficiently and efficiently in a timely manner
- Must be well organized and detail oriented
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing assigned tasks
