Shop Floor Associate
Ammunition Storage Components LLC or "ASC" is the premier manufacturer and supplier of AR-15 magazines.
We currently provide different capacities of Aluminum and Stainless Steel AR-15 magazines in .223 / 5.56, 6.8 SPC, 6.5 Grendel, .308, 7.62 X 39, 5.45 X 39 and 9mm for the AR15, M-16, and M-4 family of rifles.
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Salary Grade: $16.35-$18.00
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Using Supplied tools and gauges, accurately assembles Magazines based on Work Orders.
Collect all necessary components from inventory according to Bill of Materials.
Obtains necessary fixtures, gauges, and indicators to check parts for compliance with specifications, within prescribed tolerances.
Completes certain assurance checklists during the process. Performs dimensional checks of parts during assembly process.
Rejects unacceptable items, documents nonconformance, and moves part to quality clinic.
Willingness to work with shop personnel to induct incoming parts and aid in the expeditious shipment of critical parts.
Must have basic computer skills including but not limited to the use of Microsoft office and other programs.
Performs other related duties or responsibilities as requested or required, whether or not specifically mentioned in this job description.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Participate in regular training / cross-training in other departments as required.
Communicates with co-workers, colleagues and Supervisors to receive instructions and/or guidance and coordinate activities.
Must be able to work independently and efficiently to meet daily production requirements/goals.
Completes required company paperwork on assembled parts activity.
Adhere to standards of safety and housekeeping as established.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to perform physical duties and be able to stand, walk, push, pull reach overhead and bend to the floor.
Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs.
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about our facility
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Must be a “US Person” as defined by US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level.
Overtime offered as needed.
