The Position
The base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $145,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

The Position
- The Director of Organization Development and Education will play a pivotal role in crafting, advancing, and overseeing healthcare education programs tailored for professionals within Samaritan Healthcare. This encompasses the meticulous management of programs to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulations, and the implementation of best practices.
- This position will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and will work closely with Department Leaders and Senior Leadership.
- This leader will offer strategic guidance and foster a forward-thinking approach. Key areas of focus include enhancing professional development, refining leadership onboarding processes, implementing succession planning, ensuring compliance with DNV certification standards, and improving the efficacy of competency checklist training.
- Ideal candidates should possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating proficiency in collaborating with stakeholders and fostering effective working relationships. Essential qualifications include a strong clinical knowledge base, proficiency in HealthStream, and a beneficial background in LEAN and Magnet practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Business, Training and Development or related field or equivalent experience. Master’s degree in related field a plus.
- Must possess a minimum of five or more years’ experience, developing, facilitating and/or presenting educational programs.

- Samaritan Healthcare is a multifaceted healthcare organization located in Moses Lake, Washington.
