We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Surgeon to join our team at Bridgeport Hospital, an ACS-verified Level II trauma center. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, with experience in surgical critical care and trauma surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the ICU and OR settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to academic and research activities in surgical critical care and trauma surgery
Requirements:
- Board eligibility/certification in General Surgery
- Fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care (preferred)
- Experience in burn surgery (for the burn surgeon position)
