This facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday, 8pm – 6am (40 hours per week).
- Setting: Correctional Facility.
- Cases: Nighttime responsibilities include the assessment of people entering the jail during that time and initial treatment of their acute and chronic medical needs, supervising initiation of detox treatment for newly incarcerated individuals by substance use specialist nurses, evaluating other urgent and emergent issues as they arise.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days, however, the provider can work while being credentialed.
- Licensure: Must have an active Pennsylvania license.
