This facility is seeking a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday – Sunday, 6:30a or 8:30a to 5:00p or 7:00p (because the program and staffing is new, they would like flexibility but it will be 4x10’s weekly – start/end dates to be determined).
- Job Setting: Hospital
- Types of Cases: Pre/Post Op rounding on General Surgery patients. Assisting with inpatient orders and consults from other services, discharges of patients, fielding calls from nursing. There will always be an attending Physician onsite. Provider will not be doing any cases in the Operating Room.
- Credentialing Timeframe: 45 - 60 days.
- Certifications: Must be Board Certified and have a Basic Life Certification (BLS).
