Mary Washington Hospital is seeking an experienced leader to join them as their next Manager of Radiology Operations in beautiful Fredericksburg, Virginia!
The Position
The Manager of Radiology Operations will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the department while ensuring optimal patient care at Mary Washington Hospital.
Service lines include X-Ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiology Support.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations : Imaging, Pathology, and Laboratory Services, this leader will oversee a team of 12 FTEs.
This leader will be responsible for managing and optimizing staff needs, including shift scheduling and flexibility.
They will assist in financial statement reviews, and work to enhance the overall patient experience.
We are seeking a visionary, hands-on leader who can effectively foster collaboration and communication across the department. Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree is required
a Master's degree is preferred.
CRA certification is highly preferred.
Must be a registered Radiologic Technologist by ARRT or another appropriate credentialing agency.
A minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required.
