MRI Tech needed asap for 13 weeksFriday- Sunday 8am- 8pm (12 hour day shifts)The MRI Tech provides health care services by assisting in diagnosis or treatment. Performs MRI procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.This Tech MUST be registered in MRIMinimum Qualifications : Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology programAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Certified MRI Technician certificationCandidates must live at least 90 miles from facility to be considered for assignment.Essential Job Functions : Performs MRI exams and procedures as requested by the medical staffAssists the Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and proceduresPerforms ancillary duties as required to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and proceduresCompletes documentation, in designated area, of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.Retrieves and file exam jackets, written orders, and related health information to insure the timely performance and reporting of MRI exams and procedures.Participates in the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan.

Required Qualifications
MRI Technologist, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certifications : MR-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Copy needed)
BLS-AHA(Copy needed) On Call : $2 - 2 hr min SSN Required DOB Required Work History : Should not be more than 30 days of gap in last 1 year Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program Candidates must live at least 90 miles from facility to be considered for assignment.
