Responsibilities

- Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for the medical office.
- Collect patient information and verify insurance details accurately.
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, including data entry and filing.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Office Ally for patient management.
- Handle medical collections in a professional manner while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably in a medical or dental office setting.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems; familiarity with Office Ally is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure in a busy environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical administration are a plus.
