The Position

• The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the operations and staff of the Surgical Services department, which includes 10 operating rooms, the PACU, and the Outpatient Surgery Center.
• Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this leader will oversee two direct reports and 81 FTEs.
• This leader's primary focus will be on enhancing physician and staff relationships while working on increasing department volumes and improving scheduling processes.
• We are looking for highly organized and visible leaders who prioritize quality initiatives, patient engagement, and financial performance. Candidates must have experience in acute care and prior director-level roles.

Requirements

• BSN required; Master’s preferred.
• Active RN license required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Three years of recent clinical experience in the areas of responsibility and five years of experience in progressive management.

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $165,000 to $190,000 annually. In addition, a leader may be eligible for other benefits, including but not limited to health insurance coverage, retirement benefits, and bonuses. The total compensation for the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The base salary range listed above is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
