This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: 7 on / 7 off; 12 hour days in hospital and 12 hours of call
- Inpatient hospital
- Trauma level II
- Required Procedures: Upper endoscopy: with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), with injection of varices, with banding of varices, with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Small bowel biopsy, Lower endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy - Flexible, Rigid , Colonoscopy - with biopsy, with excision of polyp, and Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
