What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytics and Master Data Manager position at Amneal Pharmaceuticals?
Position will be responsible for improving business analytics, master data content and usage and technology advancement project management. Role will also enhance master data and globalize processes to facilitate data integration, into reporting tools including JDE and Reltio to provide enhanced service levels, reduce manual controls, leverage cross-functional integration, enable scalability, reduce data duplication, and data discrepancies.Duties include understanding all JDE costing elements, costing aggregation, item and bill of material set-up and ongoing management, inventory master data, component cost updates. Oversees as well as applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations. Incumbent will also present findings and recommendations to senior management so that data shared can be interpreted toward setting defined goals. Position will identify and drive data content and usage improvement. Roll will require the ability to leverage technology tools, and the technology organization to improve the understanding, analysis and communication of global supply finance data.
Essential Functions :
Prepares standard and ad-hoc global supply finance data analyses, including (but not limited to) costing element, item and bill of material, and inventory master data analyses.
Establish item Master Policy & Procedure and ensure timely and accurate inventory master data maintenance in compliance with policy and SOX requirements
Responds to request from external stakeholders, and internal / external auditors on questions regarding global supply finance inventory and cost data. Develops presentations to all levels within Amneal — answering questions and offering guidance based on analysis.
Prepare reporting of inventory, including API and PO cost for each product; bifurcation of costs between material, fixed and variable overhead and combined reporting that aggregates standard costs, variance and future cost changes to provide a realistic actual cost of inventory for strategic decision making analysis and support.
Identify and execute enhanced business analytics, master data content and usage projects act as a guide and SME to support IT personnel on projects within Global Supply Finance impacting Global Supply Finance as well as GSF related content on other business area projects
Understand, collaborate, and improve the assembly, maintenance and update of standard costs in JDE for both that annual update and on-going item and bill of material data creation or update, as needed.
Work closely with FPA team to compute costs for new launches and budget purposes, including support to FP&A and Commercial team with analysis on product costs for business decision making (e.g., strategic bidding)
