Description:
The Contact Administration Analyst position is responsible for daily validating, reviewing and entering all price changes and rebate updates for wholesalers, distributors, and retailers, while adhering to strict timelines and contractual agreements ensuring all pricing is activated timely. This includes both the Amneal and AvKare pricing updates within ModelN Flex. There are approximately 2550 contract changes implemented annually with a financial impact of over $2.5B in indirect contract sales, and over $450M in rebate payments. The Contract Administration Analyst is expected to independently ensure all relevant customer contract terms are entered in the Amneal Pricing System (APS) and interface to Flex and JDE with complete accurately. Entering the data with accuracy is of the utmost importance as it is critical that the updates flow properly to multiple systems (such as JDE) for processing customer orders and ensures accurate indirect and direct pricing along with proper rebate processing and accruals. In addition to validating, entering, and activating all pricing, they must also maintain and update multiple trackers for strict audit and compliance reporting purposes and must follow all corporate policies. The Contract Administration Analyst is also responsible for interpreting the contract language and then creating, entering, and activating new complex pricing and rebate structures and/or updating existing contracts per the customer agreement terms. They will make critical decisions to determine best how to set up complex structures to certify accurate accruals are captured. They also must make critical choices on how things are set up for eligibility with regards to selecting the proper contract for inclusion/exclusion and ensure that the trading partners are both setup and provide guidance to verify the current sales base is used. In this position, every step of the process is independently owned. While they work closely with various stakeholders (including Marketing management from various divisions (Specialty, Biosimilar, Bioscience, Government Pricing, and Generic) along with IT and other supporting partners, they provide suggestions, insight and context, help the teams make final suggestions which are feasible, and provide system expertise to determine the best strategies are implemented to ensure the contracts are set up accurately and timely. All Contracts and Pricing updates made by the Contract Administration Analyst are entered into the Flex System which then interface to other critical financial and marketing systems including BTI (finance accruals) CPQ (Marketing Contract Management) BI (Business reporting) and used to create other various reports. The Contract Administration Analyst maintains, and updates audit required documentation such as rebate change forms, and contract update documentation and ensures this documentation is added within Flex in the appropriate fields for control purposes.

The Contract Administration Analyst must monitor contract expirations for their specific accounts and then notify the various departments to ensure there is no lapse in terms and pricing.
- The Contact Administration Analyst is a critical member of inter-department meetings with the various Marketing teams and provides guidance and system knowledge to determine the best implementation strategies, structures, and proposals for their specific accounts. They are independently responsible for creating, entering, and activating new complex pricing and rebate structures and/or updating existing contracts per the customer agreement terms. They determine the best implementation plan for the contract to ensure it is processed correctly for customer orders, chargeback processing and rebate calculations and when necessary, they work closely with various stakeholders (including Marketing management from various divisions (Specialty, Biosimilar, Bioscience, Government Pricing, and Generic) along with IT and other supporting partners to ensure the contracts are set up accurately and timely.
- The Contract Administration Analyst must meet all compliance-related requirements, including helping management to supply audit requests, SOX requirements, and adherence to all policies and procedures. They may be asked to assist to troubleshoot issues that may arise with their specific accounts within the systems and submit tickets and work with Flex ModelN and Amneal IT support to close out issues. This could include providing test scripts and reviewing control documentation. The Contract Administration Analyst maintains, and updates audit required documentation such as rebate change forms, and contract update documentation and ensures this documentation is added within Flex in the appropriate fields for control purposes.
- The Contract Administration Analyst supports special projects and work with Flex ModelN support along with Amneal IT to troubleshoot system related issues ensure accuracy for all systems connected to the contract and pricing data – including BTI, CPQ, BI, etc. When needed provide guidance to IT to build special report requirement per the contract terms.
Education:
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience - Preferred
Experience:
- 2 years or more in Pharmaceutical or General Finance Experience
Skills:
- Ability to work extremely well under tight timeframes and be well organized. - Intermediate
