ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CONTRACT OPERATIONS - BIOSIMILARS

The Associate Director of Biosimilar Contracting Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping our biosimilar and branded injectable contracting operations strategy and process within Amneal. This position entails significant influence over contract management and operational decision-making that directly impacts revenue and overall business performance. The Associate Director will oversee a team dedicated to contract operations, ensuring alignment across internal departments and with external partners.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing decision-making processes and achieving revenue impact through effective external customer contract operations management. You will be skilled in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment on contracting tactics and operational execution. Strong management and communication abilities are essential, alongside expertise in cross-functional collaboration.You will be responsible for articulating a clear vision and objectives, executing deliverables within timelines, and adapting proactively to evolving market dynamics. Your leadership will drive both team success and strategic outcomes for the organization.This position will report to the Senior Director, Biosimilar Commercial Operations and will work closely with managers and leaders across other functional areas to ensure strategic alignment with overall company and division objectives.

Essential Functions :

• Contract Management responsible for creating a Center of Excellence for biosimilar contract management by working to understand current processes and create evolved processes to enhance efficiencies. New and existing contracts require accurate drafting / redlining, implementation working across multiple internal stakeholders, weekly performance reviews with applicable guidance to the field / customers, ensuring contracts maintain pricing governance approvals, and contract renewal review cycles.
• External Customer Account-level Operations Management Drive the implementation of product access strategies and oversee the day-to-day external customer contract operations for key customer accounts, including Wholesale Distributors, GPOs, and direct clients. Your decisions will directly influence revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
• Internal Alignment Proactively foster collaboration with internal functional teams, including legal / compliance, finance, audit, IT, market access, pricing, marketing, and warehouse operations. Develop, refine and optimize processes and systems to ensure strategic alignment and the successful execution of biosimilar contracts.
• Team Leadership - Manage a dedicated US-based and offshore-based team, providing guidance and support to drive high performance and accountability. Empower your team to excel in external customer contract operations and lead a culture of continuous process / system improvement.
• Operational Success - Ensure timely review and distribution of contract requests through process implementation and team management; maintaining accuracy in contract loading and collaborating with the Revenue team on pricing and rebate structures. Your strategic oversight will be critical in achieving operational excellence.
• Lioresal 3PL Management - Manage and enhance relationships with Cardinal 3PL for Lioresal product management to ensure timely customer setups and efficient Lioresal distribution. Conduct daily status calls to monitor shipping schedules, address challengessuch as inclement weatherand ensure prompt resolution. Collaborate closely with the field sales team to align on new / existing customer requests, guaranteeing that customer needs are met swiftly and effectively while maintaining optimal inventory management.
