What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic II - 2nd Shift position at Amneal?
Description:
Keep machinery and other equipment in good working order. Help prevent breakdowns by checking and cleaning parts. Repair the machines when they breakdown.
Essential Functions:
- Perform preventative maintenance of the equipment and ensure the team completes the job properly.
- Troubleshoot equipment during breakdowns.
- Investigate and record the reason for breakdown and take necessary action to prevent it from occurring again.
- Provide training to level I mechanics.
- Fill preventative maintenance Log Book during the execution of PM.
- Complete the work order at completion of the work as per the SOP.
- Fully capable to read and understand blueprints/writing diagrams and engineering specifications, maintain careful records of work.
- Use and handling of electronic testing equipment
- Consult with Supervisor regarding damaged parts that need to be replaced.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School or GED - Required
Experience:
- 4 years or more in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Machine Maintenance & Repair
Skills:
- Attention to detail. - Intermediate
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding terminology of the job. - Intermediate
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal procedures or instructions - Intermediate
- Reading comprehension - Intermediate
- Good troubleshooting - Intermediate
- Work well with hands - Intermediate
The (hourly) base salary for this position ranges from ($29.00 to $36.00). Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
