What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regulatory Affairs Intern (Temp to Perm) position at AMOREPACIFIC?
Job Summary
Manage and maintain business compliant to North American market regulations. Cooperate with the Global Regulatory lab at HQ to update legislative changes and internal policies for overall global business compliance. The position is temp to perm position starting with 6 months of internship.
Principal Accountabilities
- Review and revise details of products’ labeling drafts to be compliant with the most recent respective regulations;
- Review and revise brand/product advertisement drafts to be compliant with the most recent respective regulations;
- Monitor & report legislation changes in North America region (federal & state) and propose internal action plans;
- Act as an effective communication channel with reporting lines;
- Acquire, maintain, renew and/or manage products’ registrations;
- Assist with solving import, export, or customs clearance regulatory problems;
- Monitor post-market vigilance issues and take role in risk management/assessment
- Includes monitoring/handling customer complaints related to OTC and cosmetics products within the North America region and taking proper action per SOPs;
- Monitor competitors’ regulatory activities, update internal guidelines, and propose alternative solutions;
- Attend regulatory meetings & conferences in North America, report main contents, and take necessary internal actions;
- Monitor trade barrier issue changes, NGO activities, competitors’ regulatory trends, and other socioeconomic issues;
- Achieve or exceed all established KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Key Experience / Skills
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Food Science, or similar Science/Engineering.
- Prior experience in regulatory affairs and/or product development in the beauty, cosmetics, food, or drug industry preferred;
- Between 1-2 Years, but Not mandatory
- English and Korean language proficiency mandatory;
- Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally.

- Abreast of market-best regulatory practices and trends;

Salary : $18 - $21
