In the US, Innisfree is officially distributed through Sephora, Sephora at Kohl’s, Amazon and Innisfree.com. We are seeking a motivated and retail-experienced intern with a passion for skincare and beauty, who thrives in structured creative and strategic environments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and a deep interest in the skincare and beauty landscape. Throughout the internship, you'll engage in hands-on projects, including building content and assets for Sephora, Amazon, and our DTC channels, while honing your skills in data analytics. You'll also create merchandise and GWPs for events and activations, among many other exciting opportunities.
This role offers a unique chance to grow in both creative and analytical capacities, contributing to key marketing efforts and making a meaningful impact in the beauty industry. Note: The start date for this role will be in May or Early June.
Principal Acountabilities
The candidate would be responsible for tasks such as:
- Support scalable retail marketing efforts to increase brand awareness, drive traffic and increase sales.
- Own and manage monthly reports, including productivity and event analytics, providing insights to the broader team (advanced excel skills are a must!)
- Conduct weekly audits and regular store checks, ensuring in-store and online assets are aligned, consistently optimized, and represent the brand ethos across omnichannel platforms
- Assist with creating graphic briefs for the team, providing support for assets on Sephora, DTC, and Amazon (including video content management)
- Communicate effectively and proactively with cross-functional partners to ensure smooth project execution
- Support GWP and merch ideation, sourcing, production, and inventory management
- Assist with event and education collateral creation for Sephora
- Collaborate cross functionally with product marketing, consumer marketing, influencer marketing and social teams
- Manage product orders for the Trade team and ensure timely submission of invoices.
- Assist in placing sampling orders for Sephora, ensuring alignment with ongoing strategy
- Maintain pulse on industry best practices for beauty marketing
Qualification and Expierence
- Currently a rising Junior/Senior enrolled in an undergraduate program or recent graduate
- Currently pursuing or obtained a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Must be available early May or June
- Must be able to commute to the NYC office in a hybrid schedule
- Must be NYC-based
- Passion for skincare, and beauty industry
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS / COUNTIFS, Pivot tables, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying trends and opportunities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
