Hiring Certified Home Health Aide (Caregiver) FOR DAY SHIFT in New Jersey, (NJ)

Responsibilities of the DAY SHIFT Certified Home Health Aide worker:

• Dressing
• Bathing
• Companionship
• Light meal prep
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Escorts
• Other duties as required
• Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

DAY SHIFT Certified Home Health Aide worker:

DAY SHIFT Certified Home Health Aide Worker Requirements

• Active CHHA License
• Negative TB Skin Test or Chest X-ray
• Physical less than 1 Year old
• Proven working experience as home health aide
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Caring and compassionate personality
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
