Compensation: starting at $75,000/year
Position Information: Controls all aspects of inventory to include overseeing forecasting and ordering of products from our suppliers, and overseeing the inventory and breakage department.

Primary Contribution to Amoskeag Beverages:
- Maintain proper inventory levels established by management and trends
- Manage all aspects of the inventory department
- Manage all aspects of the breakage department as it relates to output, efficiency and daily recording
- Develop methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency
- Oversee forecasting and ordering of all products from suppliers
- Oversee annual supplier and finance audits
Duties and Responsibilities
- Stay up-to-date on supplier trends and new product
- Understand all aspects of protocols as they relate to supplier claims
- Execute daily inventory analysis and share information with senior management as needed
- Oversee stock item master list and maintain proper descriptions of products
- Oversee job assignments of daily inventory transactions
- Work closely with the inventory specialist to ensure all counts are completed and discrepancies are resolved
- Analyze and explain inventory discrepancies
- Ensure all inventory milestones and goals are met
- Understand the code date initiative set by suppliers
- Ensure adherence to approved budgets
- Entering PO(s) from suppliers into the RAS System (EoStar) and update changes in a timely manner
- Work closely with and maintain strong communications with sales and chain managers as it relates to promotions and new product introduction to sustain sales goals
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager as it relates to the warehouse layout and set-up
- Collaborate with Human Resources as it relates to the hiring process and interviewing for any positions that directly report to this role
- Manage the work scheduled of direct reports
- Attend all trainings and meetings related to your job responsibilities and the department
- Able to answer questions as it relates to inventory, breakage, routing and food grade safety
- Ensure proper paperwork is completed in accordance to all state, federal and supplier regulations and protocols
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Foundation of auditing and accounting principals
- Proficiency in MS Office Programs to include creating charts and excel documents for reporting purposes and other computer skills, as well as experience working with RFID devices
- Strong verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in business or accounting or applicable experience
- Understanding of Policy both internally and policies of suppliers and vendors
- Forklift Certified
